About Space Dog Coffee

Space Dog Coffee started the way a lot of good things do — with a dog, a cup of coffee, and a slightly ridiculous idea. Chester, our resident space cadet, has a way of turning ordinary mornings into a bit of an adventure, and somewhere between early walks and that first cup, Space Dog Coffee took off. The name's our little tribute to him: loyal, a bit goofy, always ready to explore.

We're a small operation based in Charlotte, North Carolina, run by real people who just got tired of coffee that tasted like an afterthought — stale beans, burnt roasts, bags sitting on a shelf for who-knows-how-long. We wanted coffee that actually tasted like someone cared. So we built something simple and honest: we don't pre-roast and stockpile. When you place an order, your beans are roasted fresh, in small batches, and shipped while they're still at their best.
